I finally got internet at the appartment! I can now be connected again to the interlinings of the world wide web, which is an important thing for the blogosphere world.
I’d like to be able to come on here and post that it is not too bad without internet, but it’s amazing how much I use it. From catching up with friends, to reading news, finding a recipe for dinner, blogging on the Personal Conservatory, saying my piece of mind and reading others thoughts in blogosphere. Yeah, I’ve missed the net for the past few weeks.
Over the weekend I decided that I needed a haircut, I was starting to get a little too shaggy and feeling like a mop. Normally I go to a cool hair saloon where I use to live, but now that I am living in a different community I thought I’d try one of the places in walking distance.
It is a really strange feeling when you are sitting in the barber chair thinking, “What are you doing? Don’t cut that, don’t cut that, don’t cut that… ohhh your cutting that, you’re really cutting that arn’t you… FUCK”
That pretty much sums up what I think of my overly short hair cut right now. See, I have a faced shaped like a small watermelon standing on end, so a short schoolboy nerd cut does not fit with my head. Who knows that this 22 year old stylist was thinking! I’m not sure if I will go back and hope for someone different in a few months or just try out one of the other 4 places in the walking distant area. The best and cheapest haircut I ever got was back in 2004 when I was studying abroad in Scarborough, England. The hair cut cost 3 pound fifty, it was quite the deal. On the state side though, I’ve liked the saloon I had been going to… slightly pricey, but I suppose you get what you pay for.
